Updated Certificate Pricing

Since 2019 Grown in Britain has managed to keep its certification fees at the same level but this year we are making some changes and from 1st June 2022 our certification fees are as outlined here.
As a not for profit we are committed to investing in supporting the forestry and forest products supply chain; and each year we channel a significant portion of our revenue back into R&D projects, often in collaboration with certified industry partners, and compete for government funding opportunities to drive demand for local timber supply chains.
To ensure GiB can continue to champion homegrown timber for the long term, we are introducing a minimum fee of £50 for all certifications, to help cover the administration of applications and management of the scheme.
To assist your business in planning for this change all renewals due for the next 6 months, between 1/6/22 and 31/12/22, will remain at the existing fee level. After 31/12/22 the new fees will apply.
All new certifications from 1/6/22 will be at the new fee rate.
Alongside this change, we will also be providing new ways for certificate holders to promote their certifications through the development of new point-of-sale materials to be shared in coming months.
We will also continue to find ways to celebrate and champion our certificate holders on social media, for example our successful and ongoing “I AM Grown in Britain” campaign, which all certificate holders are invited to submit content for.
