We’re looking forward to enjoying this year’s #GiBWeek24 which takes place from Monday 7th – Sunday 13th October 2024

As well as the National Forestry Conference on the Wednesday (more details here), as last year was such a success we’re going to follow a similar format, shining a spotlight on different areas of the GiB Community and our work each day of the week.

• MONDAY – Celebrating Certification – celebrating the people and businesses who make up our GiB community
• TUESDAY – Championing Product Provenance – expert advice
• WEDNESDAY – Forestry Conference – ‘Products, People and Possibilities’
• THURSDAY – Creating Change – breaking down barriers
• FRIDAY – Collaboration – investing in the future

We have lots of things to share and celebrate with you, but would also love to hear from our GiB community about the issues close to your heart.

In previous years certificate holders have used the week as an opportunity to share their own news – perhaps you have a special event planned, maybe you’re promoting a new GiB certified product or you’re holding an open day for people to come and find out more about what you do.

Whatever you’re working on we’d love to hear about it and help share and promote across the community during the week.

There will be GiB Week images to share on your socials or do get in touch with what you’re up to if you have more to share – let’s go make some noise!

We will of course be championing well managed woodlands and all those involved in the homegrown timber supply chain through the following schemes:

• GiB-Forest
• GiB-Chain of Custody
• GiB-Canopy
• Plant Healthy
• GiB-Expert Providers
• British Quality Wild Venison

Can we make this year’s GiB Week even bigger that last year? Of course we can!
