Celebrate Grown in Britain Week 2026!
We’re looking forward to enjoying this year’s #GiBWeek26 which takes place from Monday 5th – Sunday 11th October 2026
As well as the National Forestry Conference on the Wednesday (more details here), we’ll be sharing news, highlighting your stories and shining a spotlight on how the GiB community is achieving commerciality through connectivity.
The themes are as follows:
- MONDAY – Commercial Connections
- TUESDAY – Strengthening the Supply Chain
- WEDNESDAY – Forestry Conference – ‘Commerciality through Connectivity’
- THURSDAY – Partnerships in Practice
- FRIDAY – Growing Together
- SATURDAY/SUNDAY – People and Community
We have lots of things to share and celebrate with you, but would also like to hear from our GiB community about the issues close to your heart.
We’d love you to use the week as an opportunity to share your news – perhaps you have a special event planned, maybe you’re promoting a new GiB certified product, or you’re holding an open day for people to come and find out more about what you do.
Whatever you’re working on we’d love to hear about it and help share and promote across the community during the week.

This year, we’re also inviting you to get involved directly: share a photo of your GiB-certified product on social media using #GiBWeek26, and you could win one of our Grown in Britain hoodies, as modelled so beautifully in the picture above – we’ll be picking a winner at random once the week is over.
Last year was the best GiB Week yet. We know you’ll be supporting us in making #GiBWeek26 even better!
We will of course be championing well managed woodlands and all those involved in the homegrown timber supply chain through the following schemes:
- GiB-Forest
- GiB-Chain of Custody
- GiB-Canopy
- Plant Healthy
- British Quality Wild Venison
- Biogenic Stored Carbon Quotient
