Last week we proudly supported the #BreakTheBias campaign for International Women’s Day.

It’s important to recognise the still-too-real stereotypes associated with forestry in Britain and state clearly that they’ve had their time, while also recognising the incredible work of so many women throughout the sector. Many of our certificate holders shared photos of valued women and allies in their teams for us to publicise, while many others supported #BreakTheBias in other ways.

We’re working hard to support equality, inclusivity, and diversity, within British forestry and beyond. Only if we are able to ground this industry in equality for all will we truly be able to create a sustainable future for Britain’s forests and people.
