The latest Hardwood Timber Price-Size Curve Data is now live, helping you make more informed decisions about the value and sustainable management of British-grown hardwoods.

Developed in partnership with Forest Research and funded by Defra’s Nature for Climate Fund, this essential resource provides up-to-date pricing insights to guide your woodland management strategies and optimise timber value.

The 2023 price-size curves provide an updated snapshot of prices for UK-grown hardwood species during the calendar year 2023. They are constructed based upon the same method used in the 2022 price-size curves published by Forest Research in collaboration with Grown in Britain (GiB), adopting a mixed approach that supplements expert judgement with timber sales data collected via a survey of sellers and buyers of UK-grown hardwood.
