Grown in Britain is encouraging widespread participation in its annual Grown in Britain Week, which this year runs from 9-15th October.
The campaign has launched its first four digital marketing tool kits promoting British-grown timber for different markets: for builders merchants, the joinery sector, Grown in Britain licensees and registered supporters. Available from the campaign’s website at www.growninbritain.org, or via the short-form link: bit.ly/2xfi1Ai, the packs comprise templates for printable marketing materials, ideas for events and celebrations, and other ways to get involved with its theme of ‘Celebrating Great British Wood’.
“It’s important to us that all our supporters across the wood production, trading and wood-using sectors get a chance to actively participate in Grown in Britain Week,” says campaign CEO Dougal Driver. “We’ve compiled a range of information on how to take part, from ideas for events to simple acts of support such as including a Grown in Britain Week e-mail footer on e-mails. There’s something for everyone.”
Events happening in Grown in Britain Week, including the campaign’s joint conference with the Country Land & Business Association and Forestry Commission, are listed on the campaign’s website, and further features and promotions will be announced during the Week.
